What is the prompt generator?

The prompt generator helps you create prompts for your AI applications instead of writing them manually. Simply describe your desired application behavior and it will generate a well-structured and detailed prompt for you.

How to use the prompt generator

1. Navigate to your Workspace AIs in the left-hand navigation menu.
2. Click the Create AI. On the New AI screen, select Generate prompt.
3. Click Next, and in the Describe the behavior of your AI… box, enter a description of what you want your AI application to do. Be as specific as possible, including any desired functionality.
4. You can select a generation engine for your prompt. The default generation engine is “youai-default-001.”
5. Once you're finished, click Generate. The prompt generator will process your description and create a prompt for you. The generated prompt will appear under Prompt editor and will be structured and formatted with comments to help you understand its purpose and function.
6. Review the generated prompt and make any necessary edits. If you aren't happy with it, you can also start over and enter a new description.

• Review the generated prompt carefully before using it.

If you want to build a sales lead generator, the description of the AI's desired behavior could be “Act as a sales lead generator. Your role should include the following:

1. Provide the user with a list of potential leads.
2. Provide the user with an outreach email to send to each lead.”
