What is the underlying AI model?

The underlying model is the model applied to the entirety of your application's workflow. Unless you specify a specific model in certain parts of your automation workflow, the underlying model will be applied to your application’s functionality.

Choosing your underlying AI model

To select an underlying model, go to the Model Settings tab inside your workflow. Then follow these steps:

  1. Click the AI model name to open the Model Picker menu. You can then look through the list of available models, sorting by Provider, Model Name, Prompt Cost, Response Cost, and Context.
  2. Selecting a model will open up an additional screen with more information, including the model's description, training date, type, context, prompt cost, response cost, and additional resources.
  3. Once you have decided on the model you want to use, click Use.

You should now see your selected model name at the top of the Model Settings page.
