What is a User Input block?

The User Input block is a contextual block that allows you to collect user input for use within your workflow.

How to configure the User Input block

Once you add a User Input block to your workflow, you can configure it in the right hand panel. For example, here is how you would configure the block for a simple blog post generator:

  1. Add user inputs
  • Tap the plus icon to add user inputs.
  • From the list, select all the inputs you would like to add to the block.
  • Select Add.
  1. Display to user

There are two options for displaying user inputs:

  • Single page: This option displays all your user inputs on a single page. This is best for short forms that can be completed in one go. To create a single-page form, add one User Input block to your workflow.
  • One input per page: This option displays your user inputs one at a time, giving your user a more guided experience and the ability to easily review what they’ve already provided. To create a multiple-page form, add one User Input block for each individual input you need to collect.
